Aunjanue Ellis
Aunjanue An. Ellis Taylor is an American producer and actress. She holds a BA in African-American Studies from Brown University as well as an MFA in Acting from the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University. Aunjanue Ellis is an American actor and producer working in the fields of theater, film and TV. Her acting career started in the theater. Later, she was a part of several television shows in independent films, mainstream and movies. She became famous as Miranda Shaw, a character on ABC's Quantico. On BET's epic series The Book of Negroes she appeared. She did not only receive critical acclaim for her performance, but she also received a few awards and nominations. In 1995, she made her debut as Ariel on stage as Ariel in The Tempest. On Broadway she's appeared in Come and Gone A Winter's Tale Seeking the Genesis and Joe Turner's Come and Gone. Coming to her movie career she is best known for her roles in films like Men of Honor The Caveman's Valentine The Express and The Help. For her work on television she's received praise for her performance in the role of a character who is a regular on ABC's drama about cops High Incident.
