Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd began her journey to combat sports at teenager age. Aspen Ladd was trained in BJJ, kickboxing, wrestling and boxing before her first appearance as an amateur at WCFC aged 18. Ladd had an amazing three-fight winning streak in Ultimate Reno Combat. In all three, she finished her opponent within the first round. She then went back to WCFC to beat Leslie Rodriguez via unanimous decision. Aspen won against Silvia Babaeghian, Maddy Simmons and Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 before taking on Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 Cynthia beat Aspen, and beat her by unanimous vote. Cynthia's record as an amateur was affected. Ladd bounced back from the loss and defeated Roma Pawelek at Tuff-N-Uff to take her record to 8-1. Aspen became a professional in the year 2015 when she signed with Invicta FC to make her professional debut. Invicta Fc 11, she defeated Ana Carolina Vidal and won the bout in the first round by TKO. She won her next fight in the ring against Amanda Cooper via second-round armbar submission. She then fought at Bantamweight for her next fight at Invicta FC 16. Aspen's superior wrestling skill was able to take down McGill in the first round, and she was able to stop her in the third round by TKO (elbows as well as punches). Aspen was then in a fight with Jessica Hoy in Invicta FC 18, weighing weight of catchweight (138.1lb), as Ladd was unable to reach her weight. In spite of this, Aspen was able to take on Hoy. She finished her by KO in the 2nd round. At Invicta FC21, she was the final bout for the company. She defeated Sijara Ebanks in a unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd made her UFC debut in UFC Fight Night 118 against Lina Lansberg. She dominated Lina with a combination of ground and pound. She won the TKO round at the end of the second. Her dominance continued and she got a bigger win during her next fight against Tonya Evinger, at UFC 229 Ladd won the fight in round one and was awarded the performance of the Night Prize. Ladd fought in her debut big fight at the UFC Fight Night dos Anjos and. Lee rematch against Sijara Ebanks. The two fighters had one of the most competitive fights that Ladd won by unanimous decision. Both fighters were awarded their Fight of the Night Bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie ended Ladd after 16 seconds which ended her winning streak. Then she bounced back and defeated Yana Kunitskaya during the third round of UFC at ESPN 7. As a last-minute replacement to her UFC match, she faced Norma Dumont during UFC Fight Night 195. It was a loss by unanimous decision.
