Carey was a fashion model. She is 5'10" tall, and was well-liked by famous American designers such as Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren as well as others. Her father was a prominent scientist and was awarded the title of Scientist in 1979 by the Rocky Mountain Association of Geologists. Her father was a geologist who traveled the globe as a part of his professional career. Following her graduation from the University of Colorado in Colorado Springs, she started to model on the side. In New York she began to pursue acting. Her part was a minor one of Club Paradise with Robin Williams in 1986. White water rafting, skis and rock climbing are her most loved things to do.
